That ’76 C-10 is Bad@ss! Curious if it would look better black with white instead of the green? Wheels and air suspension are on point though!!

  4. Normally the auction is covered on Speed. I have done Security for the auctions before, became good friends with the C.E.O. of Barrett, Craig Jackson and his family, amazing people and extremely humble. But as I was saying most of the auction is normally aired lived on speed.

  5. Good selection of some of your best cars Richard. I’ll definetly be watching to see what the Shelby, and the Dropped Chevy, fetch on the block. Good luck from your Canadian fans.

  7. While you’re going to be drinking Miller Lite at BJ, I will be home on my couch with one in hand watching and hoping you do the best you’ve ever done. Very nice work done on the c-10 and shorty. Probably a couple of my favorites that I’ve seen from Gas Monkey.

  8. I thought this was sold to the Ugly Kid folks… so, are they selling it at the auction, or did Gas Monkey buy it back, or was the whole “sale” thing complete horseshit?

    • Get a lot more questions and comments on social media than the blog so usually trying to respond over there. Thanks for being a big fan though and tuning in!

  12. Wish I could afford that Ford F-100. Love that truck.

Y’all should have a contest to be the Beer Assistant. Love the show, you remind me of a boos I used to have when I was still driving trucks.

  13. Love the show can’t get enough of it , me and my brother in law
Watch every show drinking beer of course every week
Gonna make a trip out to see you all , just need
To sneek out for a week without the MRS !!!!
    Cheers Volkswagen emporium

  14. I’m a huge fan of the show.
I’m glad to see Richard doing national TV commercials, as he is very entertaining.
I would love to see a 71′ to 74′ Cuda rebuild (then give it away to a loyal viewer ) Lol !
Keep up the good work and the ratings !

  15. Hey Richard! I’m just curious to know about the Model A you guys built on the first ever Fast and Loud episode. We see it around the shop all the time, did you buy it back? Keep up the good work, love the show!

  16. I bet you get tired of repeating yourself lmao, people can’t read! It explains it all above the damn picture! Have the same problem when I advertise somethin for sale on FB you can expain it in detail and what your asking for it, but they don’t read it! smh

  17. I’m honestly surprised the Shorty never sold!
Sadly I reside in the UK and so cannot attend the auction (Wouldn’t be able to afford anything anyway)
Good luck with the auction, depending on the crowd, that Shorty should appeal to many people!

  18. Hi Richard.
Great show can’t wait for the next season to start. Are you having fun answering the same questions over and over again.

  19. Love the show . always have told my wife the dream car, for me is an early mustang convertible . the 68 shelby here would satisfy that desire to have a legacy car for me and my boys. Is the auction the only way to purchase the car now that it is submitted to it?

  20. Thanks for explaining the reason you have all the cars back Richard, I was becoming a skeptic. LOVE THE SHOW!! I know everyone has a show idea however you ever think about doing a viewers car no matter what it is?? Or have people submit car ideas or maybe have 3 or 4 we all vote on and you do the highest vote one?? Anyway good luck at Barrett Jackson

  21. How many times have you had to answer the same question about the C-10 and the Ugly Kid car?

You could close the comments, and turn it into a contest 😉

    Geez people, READ lol

  22. Do you ever want to scream at all these people asking the same questions over and over who haven’t bothered to read the information already posted on the cars?

  23. wow so many of the same answers. you most likely have it ready to paste for an answer. love the show. wish i could have you do my truck. keep on making kick ass rigs and just drop the idoits and misfit will ya.

  24. Hey Richard love the show you guys are awesome and build some sweet cars my favorite was the yenko camaro you got build do you still have it

  25. I got some friends coming in from Cali to go check out BJ and can’t decide what day to go on Fri/Sat to check out your cars. Which day would be a better opportunity to meet you there? Huge Fans!!

    • No booth or autograph session or anything but will definitely be there each day and if I’m not busy filming will autograph stuff and shoot the shit.

  26. Love the show! I’m the guy that bought the motor your guys took out of the 68 Impala. The back stage access was worth what I paid for the motor alone….. I’m kicking myself for not getting you to autograph it….. I must have been too starstruck! I didn’t expect to see the whole crew in the middle of production. Let alone for you and Aaron to step aside and answer any questions I had about it!

  27. Richard,

There are constantly cars on the lot we never hear about. Is there a website or email list to get on to see the inventory regularly?

    Thanks!
    Jeremy

  28. Wow Richard man you must be drinking alot of beers not to blow up at people that can’t read the blog. Ugly Kid is done with the wagon and Denis won the bid at Cattlemans ball and since hes one of your buddies hes a part of GMG. Blood Sweat and Beers all the way buddy ……….BEER ASSISTANT……Damn I need to get one of those

  29. Hey Richard, I’ve noticed the Dale Jr Nomad in the back of the photos and in the shop with what appeared to be front end damage. Whats up with that?!

  30. Hey Richard,
I couldn’t be bothered to read the blog or any of the comments below the pictures so now I’d like to ask a bunch of dumb questions and have you re-explain everything that was in the blog. Haha!

  31. I`m going to Phoenix for the time. Barrett-Jackson is on my bucket list. So told my wife we are going this year and with Gas Monkey going to be there even more exciting. You guys have a great show.

  32. any interest in a rusty 1976 ford Torino? I would love for it to be rebuilt on your show, can’t do it myself, not enough skills, time or money…

  33. I love those old wagons,i have a 1980 Malibu i have been building on but heart surgery has me on hold, maybe my son,s can work on her and make it as bad— as yours,LOVE THE SHOW!

  34. Richard, does anyone READ the actual post where you said, we bought it back or we are selling on their behalf? Really, even my 12 year old daughter noticed that….Love the show!

    • To be fair, I went in and added that part after I got so many questions about it. It was my bad for not including that info in the first place.

  35. We absolutely love your show! Thank you for letting us know about watching it live online also. We don’t have cable TV anymore so online watching it is! Looking forward to seeing all your vehicles sell!

  36. Thanks for the reply about what other channel might carry the auction. I’ll probably watch online and hope they don’t cut away right when you get up on the block. Good luck!

  37. I know of a 1967 Dodge Charger Red with exelent interior # 383 motor low miles Very good body very little rust VERY VERY little rust

  38. Man gas monkey kick ass every time ! These car’s a stunning just wish could see them do a BMW 3.0 CSL or Jag e type gas monkey style !

Keep it smooth and tidy guys !

    Haggis from the uk

  39. Hey Richard and Dennis, looking forward to seeing your work at the auction and maybe this year we can “snort Tequilla” in the host bar… (Not really it pretty much made me gag, but I did get a laugh watching you try it) Best of luck at the auction. Hopefully will run into you sometime while I’m there.

  40. Will you and Dennis be here for the duration of the auction? I am in Phoenix and would love to get a glimpse of you guys and the cars on the block.

  41. Would love to let my 13 year old daughter meet you guys while we are at the auction…she is a huge fan of the show..any meet or greets or soft spot in your heart to meet a disabled vet and kids

  42. hi richard and the team, my names sam i met you guys a month or so ago from england me meglite and the team from el paso are coming up to berret jackson got a little sumin from across the pond for you guys 🙂 see you next week

  43. Hi Monkey´s. I just wanted to say I love the show and loved the latest episodes with you RR visiting Sweden (finally). I myseld is from Sweden and if you don´t already know this, then I got some nice info for you why you should return to Sweden again. There is thing called Power meet (this is from their webpage: The Biggest American show in the world in Västerås, Sweden. More cars, more people, more swap meet vendors than you can believe.) If you are intrested you can read more here (in english of course): http://bigmeet.com/eng/

I am not involved in the Power meet at all, just wanted to share this with you. I have not been there myself yet but if you would go there I would really go there just to shake hand with one awesome dude (maybe even give you a beer 😉 ). I Thank you again Mr. monkey for making TV alot better. Now….where is my beer assistant…..

    Best regards, Jimmy

  44. Are you still looking for “barn finds”? If so, I will be at BJ and can give you info / photos if I run into you and if you have time (my Dad has a few…….Pantera, GTO, etc).

  45. What @Douglas Berry said. Run a contest for Beer assistant for each show. Make the criteria as shallow and fun as possible, preferably making it up as you go along to upset people who need things to be boring with rules. Would cost you a T-shirt per show and I bet people would fight for the chance….

  46. Hello,GMG, I`m in Phoenix now and check your rides GREAT job. Wondering about what the cost would be to make my 54 pck up into a everday driver. It is all org. and runs now and I can drive it but not mech. and it is hard to start. Thinking of small block v8 and up grade to 12v oh yeah it is a five window. my e-mial if interested is listing

  47. When does the new season kick off? I was at the garage in December but you all were busy filming. My son and I all love the show. Can’t wait to see the new season.

  48. We actually saw these cars at the auction today! I love that mini bus! We brought the kids out for their first Barrett Jackson experience today and I couldn’t believe how many cars they had in the big tent! We hardly had time to go outside, but we had a great time. Good luck on all your auctions!

  49. I hope you do better with these than you did with the F40!!! Whatever were you thinking, paying that much for one so badly damaged when you could have bought a straight one for not much more??!!

  50. Saw you at the auction and I heard your woo about every five minutes when you were filming in front of the cars. You ever get tired of producers saying “one more time”?

  51. Went to Barrett on Sunday, clearly gonna have to go back this Friday to check out that Impala and everything else! (Although I could swear I saw that green Stang that day. Stunning.)
Visited Gas Monkey in Dallas a couple months ago to finish my Daddy’s bucket list. He passed away this last summer unexpectedly. Got to meet Aaron and have a beer at the grill…time of my life. Looking forward to hopefully being able to see part of the auction, especially this time being so close to home. I will most certainly drink to that!

    Team GM! 😉

  52. Richard! I hate to say this but you have some dumb fans! Read the posts before asking the same dumb questions! Oh btw good luck at the auction!

  53. Cool Cars. Loved, Still love your show and still sad that we couldn’t meet anyone of your folks while we were there at your Garage merchandise area. Friend back in India are all so envious that we could make it to GMG 🙂

Cheers, hope they go to the best hands that appreciate and drive’m regularly.

  54. Hey there Richard me and my dad who is 83 love your show! We usually get together to watch to see the cars and the crazy antics you and the other Monkeys pull off. There is always lots of coolness to be seen and laughs to be had. I recently read that your foundation is geared toward raising funds for Alzheimer’s Disease. I was sorry to hear your dad is starting to struggle with Alzheimer’s Disease. My pops like yours is starting to struggle with that a bit now and it means the world to me to know that my favorite show and shop owner is using his fame to raise money for this horrible disease. Thanks for doing that and keeping it real when it comes to interacting with all your fans. You and the other Monkeys rock!!

    Phil.

  55. Dang! It must be pretty frustrating answering the same exact questions over and over again. If people would just watch the show and/or at least read the info posted with the car listings i bet copy & pasting wouldn’t be as annoying. I guess it comes with the territory… Well, it’s actually a good thing i suppose.. $$! You earned it. Good luck man.

  56. Richard:

Just curious; why build a ’68 Custom Impala? Does it have hidden headlights?

Big Block, or small block? Factory A/C? I’ll bet its on Air Ride.

I have to be in a meeting during the auction, and won’t be able to see it.

How long before actual pictures of the car are on your site so I can view it.

The ’65 you guys did was pretty sweet, and I have designs on my ’68 Fastback when time/funds may permit.

Thank you in advance for your response, and good luck at the auction.

    Sincerely,

    B.Dellinger

  57. Can’t leave this page without being said that you and gas monkey crew put together some miraculous vehicles. Absolutely astonishing! Keep up the incredible work. Enjoy your time in Arizona and at Barrett-Jackson, hopefully I’ll get to talk with you, if not I’ll see you around the show or Scottsdale! Have fun and good luck at the auction!! I’ll be there!

  58. But you guys sold some of these cars on the show already??????? Oh wait that question has been asked like 100 f’in times… read people. Hope things go your way at Barrett Jackson. There is plenty of money there for sure.

  59. Hay Richard , cant wait to see what the C10 grabs That truck is real clean looking. You guys should do a early 90 s10. Good Luck

  60. Greetings from South Africa! Thank you for a great show, wish we had some of those barn ssspecials here! PS Aaron will you be mine! But seriously Richard you have charisma in spades and you make the show what it is!

  61. I see the Impala sold – now can the we see a picture of it?! I missed the auctioning of it by 10 minutes so now have to wait to see it… Sigh.

  62. My son first introduced me to GMG and I was like what the hell is a Gas Monkey lol and now I absolutely love the show and also Barrett-Jackson, I have been watching all week and all I can say is Awesome. You guys are my sons heroes, he is a muscle car enthusiast and you all have been his inspiration for wanting to build/restore cars, of course he is in the learning stage but at least he has vision. Anyway good luck and keep on keepin on. Hats off to you guys.

  63. haha! watching on TV and saw you walk up to and check out the red ’69 COPO Camaro. hilarious dude haha it was a total shock

  64. Hey Richard, saw you purchased the Ring Bros Pantera, welcome to the Pantera community. We have a yearly Pantera Fun Rally which happens to be in Houston this year on May 15-19 with a trac event at Texas World Speedway, you’re more than welcome to attend. What are your plans for the Pantera?

  65. Over 600k not a bad haul for the week for Gas Monkey. First time watching the auction. Not sure why there weren’t more reserves put on some cars.

  66. any way you could post what each vehicle sold for. the only one I was able to watch was the 71 kingswood. I’m curious what the other rides brought

  67. RR love the show and the antic’s, the cars and trucks, Beautiful. Do you ever take suggestions on what some would like to see built. Lets say a model a pick-up

  68. Hi! Hubby and myself love the show. Nice to watching something with enthusiastic, fun people without the aggression that seems to be rife these days. I have loved cars forever, and it is good to see the old American models (we are south coast of UK) – some classy stuff with beautiful curves. Just watched an episode with a Yugo – I thought they were long gone!
Anyhow, thanks for a good prog and look forward to sharing many more projects with you on the box

  69. To MPETE – if you click on each pic it will take you to Barrett-Jackson link w/price sold & full description. You can also go to BJs website for the full catalogue of vehicles sold at Scottsdale.
