This ’60 Bel Air was featured on last night’s episode of Fast N’ Loud.
I would like to own the car. I know you sold it, but where can I find it. $$$
I agree, that is the nicest car I’ve seen come through GMG.. Other than the Thunderbird. those are my two favorites.. LOVE THE SHOW.. Killer Projects.. keep it up!!!!
Appreciate it Stacy!
60 Bel Air my favorite build so far.Sweet!! Early 60`s cars so cool.Drive 62 Impala myself. Aaron and the guys nailed that one.Love the show.
Appreciate the love and support, we loved that car and didn’t like to see it go but Gas Monkey got paid!
AWESOME JOB!!! I hope to add one like this to my collection one day. Keep’em Fast and Loud.
Thanks for the love Rhett.
badass i wish i had that
BADASS i like this car
The 1960 is by far the best car I have seen on the show. I owned a 1960 Impala conv. and I sure wish I would of kept it, however in the early 70’s no one thought much about holding on to them. I would love for Gas Monkey to do one for me in the same color combo, engine, brakes etc. Fantastic car!
Thanks George, it was one of our favorites as well for sure!
have to agree with aaron this is nicer than the rusty cadi but just as good for the chinise fire drill love your show whats the newest model car you guys have worked on
Can you tell me what style of Intro rim is on the Bel Air? What is the tire sizes? Thanks
The wheels are v-rod style and 20’s in the back and 18’s in the front.
that is badass how much does it cost
More than I wanted it to…
does it have working ac.
This one cool car dude. I have been working 15 hour shifts for the last month and did not get a chance to watch the build. I will try to utube, dvr, dvd, vcr the episode or something. Fins make me want to swim with Jaws and eat his freakin lunch.
THAT 60 CHEVY HAS IT ALL!!!!
BEAUTIFUL BODY INSIDE AND OUT.
SMART RUNNING TECHNOLOGY, LIVING IN THE FAST LANE.
A PERFECT FAST AND LOUD
Thanks for the info on the tires and rims. Great job with the car. You guys do great work and I appreciate the effort Aaron & the guys puts in to do the job right. Keep putting out this type of quality and you always be successful. Gonna watch the Bel Air build again tonight just to see this car again.
My dad had one of these back in 1968 when I was just 14.
Gas Monkey did a fantastic job as always but this one is my all time favourite.
Love every aspect of the show.
If only I could win the Saskatchewan Lotto I would be commissioning GMG to build me one like this.
Keep up the good work.
Like Stacy S. said the Bel-Air and the T-Bird the best so far! Some kick ass cars!
Keep up the great work, love the show!
After watching this episode I called my Dad cause I remember as a diaper wearing boy riding in his it was red and white. Thanks for posting the pic’s brings back memories one in particular it was back in the late 60’s we were driving down the interstate and my sister turned off the ignition and pulled the key’s out. Great show keep on keeping on.
love this car and your show, but you kinda pissed me off whan you scraped the caddy.you got scrap price for it $400-600. that would have been a good project for someone that dosent have alot of money to hone his skills on.
Just wondering if you guys ever put up parts list for the projects you have completed? I just wonder sometimes while I’m watching what exhaust you went with or brand of control arms you chose etc. Anyways what exhaust did y’all use for this 60? Great build by the way.
ssssick ride yo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i lve 60s impala i myself have a 62 impala rag sittin the same way LOVE EM KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BET ya jesse james FAKE ASS cant build one of those!!!!!!!!!!! lol
What type of exhaust was on the 60? It didn’t sound like an LS.
who makes the wheels on this car? I have a 66 Caprice I think they would look good on.
beautyfull car and realy got balls, look prety fast, and its gone to be great to drive, but i got to tell you, i love the hot rods and you have some master pieces, keep on rockin GMG
can you build me a car
I went on eBay and bought a 60 Bel Air a few days ago just because of how awesome your build was. Awesome job fellas!
No way? Rock on!
Finally got to see the build. Very cool. More builds, less Honey Boo Boo drama on the show please.
Hellow from Japan.Nice car
i HAD A 1960 IMPALA WITH A 409, 425HP, INSTEAD OF THE BOAT ANCHOR 348 THAT CAME IN IT. tHIS WAS BACK IN 1969 OR SO. kEEP BUILDING THEM AND WE WILL KEEP BUYING THEM, AND gMG WILL GET PAID, RIGHT.
You guys rocked the 60 Chevy, a sweet LS motor, and great air ride stance! Love the show. You guys build and ride killer Harley’s… Sue does awesome work, and cracks me up! Thanks for making us Richard’s proud.
YOU GUYS ROCKED THE 60 CHEVY WITH THE SWEET LS MOTOR, AIR RIDE, AND NICE INTERIOR BY SUE. YOUR SISTER SEEMS NICE, BUT YOUR OFFICE OR RESTAURANT NEEDS MORE EYE CANDY BRO! LOVE THE HARLEY BAGGER, AND OTHER BIKES YOU GUYS BUILD. NO FAKE POSER, ADD ON JUNK, LIKE SOME OTHER TV “BUILDERS”. THANKS FOR MAKING US RICHARD’S PROUD!
Does GMG sell any of the old parts off the cars they build?
Not usually because they’re usually removed for a reason (rusted, broken, etc). But we’re thinking about selling pallets of parts from builds.
Thanks. The BelAir build brought back memories of my sisters 60 Impala 348 car. My restoration is a 62 BelAir Sport Coupe 409 hp/409 cid. It was a local drag car from Fort Worth, you may know of it. I’ll call and leave my name and number if you want to talk. The parts I’m seeking are very generic.
She’s a sweetie! Good job.
You guys hit all the points on this car. Prefect! Nice job….
Never was much of a Belair fan…. Until now!! The 60 Belair you built is one of the most beautiful pieces of metal I’ve ever seen!! The whole car top to bottom is sexy!
Thanks Suze, it was a bad ass ride and one of our favorites for sure.
Nice car guys
The shop phone and mailbox are full. Is there another way to make contact other than driving to the shop?
You can email firstname.lastname@example.org
Incredible Job. I’ve watched every episode of Fast and Loud. All the cars have been incredible but this is one of the most bad ass cars they’ve ever done! Gas Monkey KICKS ASS!!!
Thanks for the support Mike!
will you do an 62 belair?
Thanks RR, I sent one with the details this morning.
man that bel Aire is the baddest job aaron has done so far, it’s just baaadddddd!!!! I have a 60 convertible, but it’s a rust bucket, I hope to b able to get aaron the fix me up just like that, except, i would want red interior> keep up the good woork aaron!!!!!!!!
P.S. You also did a bang up job on the dodge truck( the one you traded the labor on your shop)?
Thanks a lot Jay!
Hey ther is a 1966 mustang in sanfransico
Aron would love to work on that!!!
left two emails richard – waiting for a response when you can. no hurry.
Great build Richard I wish you could’ve done my 59 Buick Electra.
What an amazing job you guys did on this one. This is an absolute beast in stock sheep clothing. Keep up the great work. Project likes this will get you guys to the top of the heap.
Thanks Domenic, we loved that car and hated to see it go but Gas Monkey got paid!
What’s under the hood of that ’60 bel air?
love the show. my father and i used to buy cars off of craigslist or impound lots, fix em up a little, and sell em to fund our race team. a shop that used to sponsor us did all of the labor so I can relate to your hustle brothas!!
Hell yeah! Sounds like you’re men after my own heart.
what is the motar in a 68 mustang fastback
That depends. They could come with a few different engines.
Bet you don’t know Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahaha
Any chance I could find out what mufflers you guys ran with this 60 ??? Sorry to bug just loved the way it sounded. Love the show, have not missed one episode. Been meaning to buy a t shirt to represent you guys down here in Austin!
Hey that’s a badass car its all arigenal right
Off the hook! The crate motor and big rims really do the trick! Great job!
BTW, great show!
One last question on those V Rod rims, They look Satin and not polished, is that correct?
Thanks Man for the info.
I’m gonna try asking once more….what type of exhaust did u put on the 60?
Also did u do a cam swap on the LS? I tried looking during the show plus looked at all the pics & don’t see any of undercarriage. Thanks
Aaron custom built Mangnaflow exhaust to go in the 60.
Thats the most badass belair i’ve ever seen! I’m usually intot he late 50’s but you guys got me convinced this is my favorite. I would love to know whats under the hood and what size tires those are. Keep up the great work guys!
Appreciate the support Noah, it was definitely one of our favorites thus far.
I have one last question on the V Rod Rims. Are they polished or Satin? Its difficult to tell from the pics. Getting ready to order from Intro sand want them looking like those on the Bel Air. Thanks man for the info.
Love the show, you guys do such great work.
The Best car you guys have done. Wish you could do the same to my 1955 Ford Thunderbird. Black of course! Keep the great builds and inspiration coming guys!!!
A disabled veteran in Los Angeles, CA
Thanks for the love and your service John.
Yep, that was pretty sick…can we get a list of parts to build this thing?
Out of all your builds, and I don’t think I’ve missed an episode, this Bel Air is still my favorite by far. You guys took what you did with that Ford Galaxie to another level. Keep it up! I have a ’69 Mercury Monterey 2dr hardtop that my dad bought new in ’69 and you are motivating me to “Bel Air” it!!!!
That’s awesome, Kevin. Good luck on your build! Sounds like you’re going to make it badass.
I love older …longer …..classic …..Cadillac’s !!!!!!
love the lines and the stance on the 60 belair…by far my favorite build cant wait to see what the new build is every week…now where is my beer assistant..
This one badass ride. Hands down, one of the best builds I have ever seen.
Just to 2nd, 3rd and 4th, the best rebuild yet! I had a 64 as my first car at 16 and hot rod modded it and everyone would give me a thumbs up. I even had the homeboys that made them low ridership tell me it was bad ass! And this was a 4 door! Got the itch to build a new car and just told the wife it’s going to be a 60 belair and showed her your pics. Yea, she rolled her yes and said oh no! Hahahaha! Thanks for the great show!
Very welcome, Don. You can’t go wrong with a ’60.
Is it just me,is anybody else not noticing the poor quality interior? The seem line on top is crooked as hell. Sue makes fun of gas Monkey calling them ass monkeys but I thnk she needs to check her work ha ha! this is why its called as seen on tv real world don’t work this way. very nice paint and mechanical work tho..
The interior looked great when we got it back. Maybe they showed an unfinished shot of the interior or something like that. Glad you liked the rest of what you saw.
OMG i loved this Bel Air soooooo much I’m 14 but I’m now begging my step dad to get me one but there’s none out there that love as nice as you guys made it.. I’m a die hard fan of you guys i watch your show all the time i love you guys it would be amazing if i ever got to meet you guys
That would be a badass first car. You know what you need to do for it, right? Just buy one you can find and fix it up yourself.
you have no idea how happy that just made me that you even said anything back..i know its a crazy dream but i hope i meet you and Aaron one day i would so go into fan girl mode and beg for a autograph and pic with you lol well I’m gonna stop being weird now lol but thanks for even replying
My Dad just gave me his 1960 Chevy Biscayne, we restored it together when i was in high school, and since it was his, it sat for about 20 years in a garage. Now its mine! Saw your show and got all kinds of ideas. Now I have to ship it to FL, find a shop and make it Badass. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Had to admire the 1960 Chevy Bel Air…think I’d have paid what you sold it for ALL DAY. Why sell so cheap?
just seen this car at the Timonium, maryland car show on dec. 7,2013….. nicee
Hey Guys! I also saw the Bel Air at the Timonium, MD car show. Tim, the owner, was very enthusiastic about the Bel Air and Gas Monkey Garage. He even let me sit in the driver’s seat, so we could get pictures. To all who were involved with the build, the car turned out AWESOME! Aaron, the Bel Air is in good hands. Love the show!
This car is bad ass!! Great job on this one guys. A guy at my shop just told me about this one because I just picked up a 4 door 1960 bel air. I know two two many doors. Lol keep up the good work.
thats a badass bel air.nice job on the paint
Nice ride!! What type of fuel pump was used and what was the sponge thing that went around the tank? Im tryin to figure it out I have a 1973 monte and I just bought a ram jet 502 need to get the fuel system together.
I’m a fan of GMG not doubt & i love the cars you build. I’m starting to study automotive technology hoping that one day i’ll be able to build cars like you. Keep it up!!
great looking car and we share the same ideas. Im building a 59 biscuit with the 525 hp ls3 and 4L70, new ford 9″ all new 2014 corvette water based tow tone paint job, frame off all the way, Holley high ram from the COPO camaro, any ideas on the hood?
Awesome, awesome, AWESOME car! You guys do great work! Love the show! Where can I find a video of you doing a burnout and test drive with the car? I remember seeing it on the episode but can’t find it on the interweb. Thanks
I don’t think we have any online with the Bel Air unfortunately. But we post them all the time on our YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/getmonkified
I gotta say, seeing this old school Chevy done up was by FAR my favorite episode of this show! Everyone at the shop was in there like swimwear the moment they saw this car! Everyone in the shop fired on all cylinders in the building process of this beautiful ride…even SUE was down for the cause on this one! Everybody had a blast with this one and it showed! This one was completely drama free…everything flowed like clockwork! Even when u first picked it up, u could’ve flipped it for like, 15K and some change just as it was! But seeing the crew go all out with this ’60 Bel Air was the icing on the cake! I just love to see a nice old school bow tie done just right and u hit it right on the head with this one! Excellent job with this one, Richard!!!!
Can please tell me what size tires front & back you use for 60 Bel air. Thanks
Watching the show in the UK, a little behind the US air date. Loving the Bel Air. Fantastic Space Race lines and a really sweet car to bring into the Gas Monkey Era. Keep up the style. Maybe I’ll send you one of my Maseratis to see what you make of European styling. Getting ready for a run to Modena, ship that Gumball 550 and we’ll race you to the Riviera. YOLO.
On the 60s Bel Air what sized tires did you use, front and back? And what type of suspension did you put in? Thanks.
Just watched the 1960 Bel Air over here in the UK …turned out a peach !
man that’s a nice car gas monkey got paid I just wish I was the one paying for it
how about a nice late 60’s Mopar muscle car build for you guys…I can’t remember seeing you guys build a Chrysler yet! Mopar did build some nice cars then…keep up the good work, enjoy the show
Nice! I just got a 1960 Biscayne resto-mod with a 454, lowered with coy wheels- in tuxedo black. The laymen would get this one and my car mixed up for sure! I love these models, maybe only the 1959s better. And the delivery sedans (I’m weird.) El Camino’s too. Most underrated cars IMO. That’s fine by me- keep the prices low!

Beautiful car <3 My favorite is the 1956 bel air . Great work, keep it up with those amazing projects (: GMG the best garage (:
My wife and I have NEVER been muscle car fans…until we saw this Bel Air. If you’ve ever wanted to spark a love for these machines in another human being, rest assured you have succeeded. Beautifully done, perfectly lowered with the right wheels. We are converts!
Hey Richard i want to know from where you ordered this radiator that you put on this car? The website or phone number! Thankss! && i love your show!!!
I don’t remember the specific model that we used on this one but Ron Davis is the company we use to get our radiators.
Beautiful car stunning job I own a 60 Chevy bel air it’s a 4 door very solid all original I drive it a lot although it’s not as nice my dad bought it 20yrs ago and as of two weeks ago he gave it to me I have fallen on hard times with g.m closing in my town of Dayton,Ohio and don’t have the money to invest in it but I only hope I can make some progress on the car while my dad is still around to see his health is fading only hope I can make mine as beautiful as yours …..
Nice job on all that work. I´ve built a protopype here in Chile a few years ago. I was wondering if you need valuable employees that would work with passion. That´s me. Let me know if you have a chance at any time. Thank you,
hey guys, love the 60. i actually just got my hands on a 60 myself. maybe once its done i can drive down and show you how she comes out. keep up the great work. huge fan.
Badass! That’s still one of my favorite builds we’ve done down here.
hi guys … now watch TV Discovery and admire your work … rebeta- I come from Lithuania Villeneuve. But I live on the Mediterranean Sea in the region of Antalya. I want to buy a car biting biting your work ….. send your photos of art waiting for Igor
Great show, amazing 60 belaire. I have a 60 Biscayne I hope one day it looks something close to yours. They are very cool looking cars. Keep up the good work!
What would it cost to build one exactly like this? What did you sell this one for?
I’m so hooked on this show!! My favorite episode is the one with the black 1960 Bell Air. I have a 1961 Tan Bell Air that’s all original in fantastic shape with only 34,000 miles but still needs work to make it updated. Would it be possible to get the parts used on that episode? Before I get in over my head I would love to know how much you guys dummed into that project. I want to make this my everyday car and you never know maybe this might be a project down the road for gas monkey (not to be on the show of course). I mean hey I need to pay someone to do the work and your crew kicked ass on this project.
I always thought that body style would be perfect just the way you did it then chop the top, OMG!
best show ever!!! And bel air 60 is my favorite build so far! Love GMG!!!!
I loved that bad ass 60 Chevy y’all built. Have two 60 Biscayne’s myself hope to build in near future would love a complete list of components that was used. Keep up the awesome work and I’ll keep watching the show. Waldo ,Fl.

Me gusta su Programa lo Vemos siempre Nos reímos de las loqueras de Ustedes
Love this car im watching the rerun of this episode now
G.M. Sure would like to know the tire and wheel make/size you used on the 60. My 60 Impala convert. sure would look bitch en with them, sorry that sounds like an other show.
I seen the 67 Caddy convertible that you did for Raisin Cain. I know the wheels are MOB STEEL and was hoping you could tell me the diameter and back space/offset. I have got to get a set of these for my 1966 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. Thanks I LOVE your show and keep em coming.
I plan to visit in 2016.
Oh and today is my birthday.
What size rims and tires did you run on that ’60? I know they are 18’s and 20’s. But more curious on back spacing, width, and tire size. I’m building a similar car and love the look and stance of this car. Thanks!
