  1. richard you need to be checking out some of these deals on cars in ohio.there are some nice old school cars down here and at good prices.

  2. All the cars are very cool. I would love to own the corvettes. Currently own a ’79 rebuilt. Taking it to a weekly Monday night car show tonight. BTW – it was good to see you away from the “office” last week and having so much fun. It’s a good thing to blow off the stress of the business. Peace & Love, Vette Girl <333

  3. The SBC deuce is just too stupid for words, and at least Aaron admids he is a ford monkey. No one in thier right mind has a deuce with a 327

  4. Hey Richard, I would like to see you do a 55-57 chevy p.u. bagged with you’re touches ,trucks are really hot right now, Are you interested in buying a rare all steel 34 ford 3 window coupe High-boy , it’s bright yellow and Bad-Ass, Harry,

  5. RICHARD, I HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOUR SHOW SINCE IT STARTED. WOULDN’T MISS IT. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT TO WATCH. VERY ENTERTAINING AND FUNNY. I HAVE BEEN IN THE CAR BUSINESS FOR 51 YEARS. I ENJOY IT TOO MUCH TO GET OUT OF IT. I HAVE HAD A LOT OF CLASSIC CARS IN MY DAY, WISH I STILL HAD THEM ALL… SMALL WORLD….THE BANDIT SHOW YOU HAD ON ,WELL THE BANDIT CAR YOU HAD THERE WAS MY SONS CAR, ‘ RIC RODRIGUEZ’ ..BURT REYNOLDS WAS MY FAVORITE ACTOR BACK WHEN HE WAS ON GUNSMOKE., AND SOMEHOW MY SON FELL IN LOVE WITH HIM ALSO ,, ESPECIALLY AFTER HE SAW SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT, I REMEMBER WHEN HE WAS YOUNG AND HE ALWAYS WANTED A BLACK TRANS AM, AND HE WAS NOT GOING TO REST UNTIL HE GOT ONE…THE REST IS HISTORY.. HE REALLY ENJOYED MEETING YOU, WISH I HAD GONE WITH HIM. I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO MEET YOU AND YOUR GANG, AND SEE YOUR GARAGE..MAYBE SOMEDAY… TAKE CARE AND KEEP ACTING, YOU GUYS DO A GOOD JOB .

  6. Hey Richard, Love the show. Watching over here in the UK, playing catchup with the older episodes as well at the moment. Keep doing what you’re doing and keep those monkeys in check. I was going to ask if you had any plans on putting your Gas Monkey mark on any old British cars, then I did a quick search and realised that we don’t really have any badass cars over here.

  7. The show is great and I’ve seen every episode. You are a one-of-a-kind. You and Aaron pick a lot of cool cars to work on. Throughout the series I’ve seen what appears to be a ’51 Ford sedan in some of the background shots. While it’s not the sexiest car on the lot, it brings back memories of my very first car.
I was 16 when I bought a ’51 Ford flathead for $75.00 and had 2 accidents within a month. The first was the Ford vs. a 1963 Chrysler Imperial. The Imperial was barely scratched, but the front of mine was pretty smooshed. A crowbar and a junkyard radiator fixed that.
A couple of weeks later, I was showing some friends how fast my car could go downhill. We hit a hard left, followed by a quick right on a gravel street and blam! We went head first into a Redwood tree.
The three of use were a little bloody, but nothing serious. Sadly, the Ford lost that race and I walked to school for the last of the semester.
Anyway, I’d sure like to see y’all do something to that background Ford I saw on your show.

    P.S.
I’m glad Aaron kept the ’63 Falcon racer. When I was in the service, I had a ’63 Falcon 6-cylinder & a four-on-the-floor. I didn’t wreck it and I drove it like a bandit. Great car.

Thanks, and keep making the show.
    Jess

  10. Great show Richard watch it here way down in South Africa. Enjoy your Mustang conversions and cannot understand Aaron,s dislike of them, Keep up the great show and pop in to see us here down south.

  11. Man if I had the talent and the money I’d be right in there with the GMG group, but those years are all behind me, love the show and never miss an episode.

  12. Richard.. I am 75 years old and have always loved cars. Your program is fantastically entertaining for me and my actual car knowledge is very little. What do you mean by fleet line ? I looked it up on the internet and it’s still not clear.
I am a retired pharmacist who wished he had chosen to be a motor mechanic.
I hope you and Aaron keep up the good work….. Lenny

  15. Hi Richard,

Really keen to get you guys to commission a truck for me and ship her across the pond to the UK! …. Loving the ’59 Chevy short bed, big window you guys flipped the axles on and kept pretty old Skool, small block, in line motor etc ( less gas guzzling at our pump prices ) this is exactly the type of truck I’m after !!! Please, please drop me a mail so we can talk turkey hombre 😉 …. Email: jonjmadgwick@aol.com

I’ll definitely bring a build your way one day to make bad A$$ for me!

    GAZ MONKEY a donf jerome

  19. Mr. RR,
Own a 57 Chevy 2 door hardtop no post. Interior is complete, and bench seat is curved as if it was a stick. No engine or floorboards, however the dash and interior are complete.
Learned enough watching GMG to bag it,and drop a crate LS in it. Problem is I will not be able to sell it for the price you could. You always seem to get over market pricing.

Also a one owner numbers matching cream color, 63 Ford Galexy 500 XL. been in a barn for 25 years.
Plan to rebuild engine, paint, and interior replacement. Original hubcaps.
this car needs to stay stock.

Like the show and the crew you have now. good luck this season.

  20. Hi Richard

  22. Love your show sense I had a heart attack that’s all I am able to do .I have two mopar’s that I can’t finish. Both are 95percent maybe 98 percent rust free .They need a home .I have a 67 Dodge dart GTA small block with lots of new parts .Also a 70 dart swinger with 340 it is still on rotisserie and blasted engine mounted on its on trailer with trans for running .Don’t want to let them go but what can I do in a bad position two good cars just sitting here ssdi does not pay enough to have someone to finish them.

  23. Hi,
Where are all the cars to buy? I see you guys buying and working on cars all the time. Do you sell all your cars locally and have none left to sell on ebay? And I mean the ones that you’ve worked on and re-done, not the ones you just flip.

So, when are you going to have some re-done cars for sale on ebay?

    Sincerely,
    Susan

He had plans of driving it one day but he had kids and never got around to it, so it sat in a garage and overtime lost its glory. How I was wondering if you guys at Gas Monkey even did stuff like this if you would restore it and how much it would cost.

  33. Big fan of the show. Crane, erson , holly, willwood ,rocket wheels , all have something in common a product line. My grandpa said you’ll work your ass off one at a timing it. Got to get them coming to you. Mass production. That crown Vic swap you guys are so fond of for old trucks. Rework it to make it fit better under the truck, narrower maybe. offer it as a kit. Build a legacy by replacing the mustang ii with the crown Vic as the best aftermarket front end out there. Just an opinion. Doing that conversion myself on a 59 f100 . also put an IRS from a 94 cougar in there. Got the inspiration from you guys. Like I said big fan.

  38. Richard I love the show and everyone on it. I cannot get bought of GMG. I will tell you I see you are always looking for new projects. I live here in southern Indiana about 30 mins out of Louisville ky. I live in a pretty rural area. I see old cars all day long sitting by a house, outside a barn, backyards, fields. Right down the road from me is a galaxie that has been in a barn until a new roof was put on, now it sits outside in the weather. From a fast back mustang to a 55-57 Chevy just in 5-8 miles of my home. You should make a road trip and make some offers, as long as I can tag along…..lol!! You all are top notch!!

  42. Richard,

I have a 94 Chevy saburban. It was left to me when my father passed. He put his heart and soul into this saburban. It has 4″ lift fox suspension, chrome 20″ pro comp wheels and tires. It has a lot of bells and whistles that he has added. It has a 383 strocker engine. Runs good just needs 2 catalyconverters. It’s super cool. I know it’s in the 90’s, it’s always cool to put a little spin into things. I just see the monkeys passion for vehicles. I know you guys would take it over the top.

  43. Really like the show and the projects. I have a 62 Ford Unibody truck and was wondering if you have ever done one? I know you have done numerous Ford trucks, but can’t remember ever seeing a Unibody.

  60. Richard:
I can’t get enough of the ideas you and the Bearded Wonder come up with for projects. They are all funtastic (intentional spelling). Have you ever thought about doing a project on a Studebaker 2R5 pickup? A classic I’m sure you and the crew could turn into a real Stud Bucket.

    Thanks

    Jack
