After selling out of the run of 500 McLaren Senna even before its launch McLaren has green lighted their newest concept, the Senna GTR.
The hypercar which made its debut at the Geneva Motor Show will be limited to 75 track-only models and will carry a price tag of about $1.4 million USD. Packing “at least” 814hp the Senna GTR is getting greater horsepower from its 4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine. With a similar weight to the just over two-ton Senna the GTR gets its track advantage courtesy of a racing transmission, new suspension, Pirelli tires and 2-tons of downforce.
Production on the Senna GTR will begin in 2019 with all units being made by hand in Woking, England and deliver the fastest lap times outside of Formula 1.
