This 1976 Ford Bronco is a piece of Gas Monkey history having been built on the show years ago, but unlike other collectibles, this one is meant to be played with.
The built Bronco features a 302ci Ford crate V8 and C6 transmission which help propel the off-road Ford’s 15/70 BF Goodrich AT tires on 17-inch wheels. Though performance oriented the most drastic changes to this ’76 are cosmetic with a three-inch lift and the doors and hard top being permanently removed creating a kickass aesthetic for this first-generation Bronco. On the inside the simplicity reflects that of Broncos past with really the only tech upgrades coming by way of a CB radio, Bluetooth, and Clarion M502 head unit with four six-inch JL Audio speakers.
Being sold in California buyers there should be aware that it won’t pass emissions tests in that state nor can it be registered for street use. However, we view that as just a minor inconvenience to a classic build which is certainly more than capable of monkeying around.
